Backlog
Not making excuses or anything, but...
Much of the time that I wasn't attending nine games in the space of five days, was spent traveling, eating, enjoying time with my nearest and dearest, looong walks in all weathers with ‘Bog’, socialising, sleeping… and not blogging, sorting out pictures or staying glued to my keyboard round the clock, going all square-eyed.
This site is an extension of my football habits/hobby /obsession and if it ever becomes a chore rather than a pleasure, I would jettison it all immediately, without the slightest hesitation. But thankfully that's not even a consideration at the moment, l’ve just stumbled across a bit of a delay.
To compound the balance of keeping this narration of my football travels up to date, a recent update to my laptop software as slowed down the process of uploading pictures onto my blog, to a speed that would best be described as an hideous crawl.
A ‘system restore’ point as been created to rectify the backlog, but it's going to take a while to rectify the situation, during which time I can either stop going to games while I get on top of the situation… not effing likely! Or patiently plod on, as and when I get the luxury of some spare time, until I surmount all of the obstacles that are currently piled up in front of me.
I could cheat and slip the midweek games in first, but I want to keep things in some kind of chronological order. The skeletal version template of this past weeks activity is all actually in place, I just need to flesh it all out a bit.
